The Ethiopian Organization for Cancer Prevention and Research (CPR – Ethiopia) works on cancer prevention, early detection and the evidence behind both. There are routes into that work for people outside our organisation, and further routes for researchers and health professionals. Each has its own page below.

The pages in this section

Membership. Who membership is for — researchers, clinicians, public health practitioners, students and members of the public — and how to apply.

Donate. How to offer money, equipment or professional time towards the research programme, and what that programme covers.

Volunteer. How to offer time to prevention and early detection work, and the screening picture that work sits in.

Lived experience. What people who have been through cancer services can tell us, and what to ask before sharing anything about yourself.

Partner. How an institution, programme or funder can make an approach, and where each kind of proposal is read.

Researchers, clinicians and health professionals

Further routes sit in other sections. Collaborate sets out what the research units cover. Grants and fellowships states whether a round is open. Clinicians and programme staff have a section of their own. Advertised posts appear on careers.

If you have noticed a change in your body

See a health worker. That is worth doing now, whatever your screening history, and it does not wait on anything on this page. Signs and symptoms sets out the symptom list we publish.

Someone looking for information after a diagnosis, for themselves or for a person they care for, will find more use in the support pages.

Before you give money, time or personal information

The accountability page sets out our governance arrangements and what we publish. It is worth reading first.

Getting in touch

The email address, telephone number and working location are on the contact page, which also sets out what we can help with.
