We are governed by a Board of Directors, supported by committees, and we have also established an International Advisory Board. This page sets out what each body does.
Board of Directors
The Board is our main governing body. The Board page covers its composition and how to write to it.
Finance, Risk and Audit Committee
This committee provides support to the Board in the areas of finance, audit and organisational risk management. The accountability page sets out how to ask about our finances, our registration and our policies.
Scientific Research Committee
The Scientific Research Committee advises the Board on our research and on the funding of that research. It also reviews research projects to ensure that ethical standards are met and that the confidentiality of participants’ information is protected.
International Advisory Board
The International Advisory Board was established to provide high-level advice on our work, on an individual research project basis. It consists of a network of leading academic experts and clinicians, appointed for their expertise in a field relevant to cancer control research and for their availability for consultation when we need it. The International Advisory Board page covers appointment and scope.
Asking about governance
The people page describes the individuals CPR – Ethiopia names and what each of them works on. Questions about how the Board and its committees operate — membership, terms of reference, how often they meet, or how declared interests are handled — can be sent to cancer.prev.ethio@gmail.com, and we will get back to you.
