The Ethiopian Organization for Cancer Prevention and Research (CPR – Ethiopia) is a not-for-profit organisation registered in Ethiopia and established in 2019. Two standing committees hold our work to account, each reporting to the Board of Directors.
Finance, Risk and Audit Committee
This committee supports the Board on finance, on audit and on organisational risk management. Questions about how we are funded, how money is spent, or how risk is managed go to this committee.
Scientific Research Committee
This committee advises the Board on research and on the funding of that research. It also reviews research projects to ensure that ethical standards are met and that the confidentiality of participants’ information is protected — so anyone taking part in a study, or considering it, has a route for asking how their information is handled.
