Write to that address, or use the form on this page. Messages are read and passed to the person who works on that subject, and we will get back to you.

Six subjects cover most of what arrives. Choosing the closest one is what routes a message quickly:

  • General enquiry
  • Research collaboration
  • Membership
  • Media
  • Policy and advocacy
  • Volunteering

Say in the first line or two who you are and what you are asking about. If your message is about something we have published, naming the page — and, for a correction, the source you are reading it against — is enough for it to be checked.

    What we respond to

Research proposals and collaboration. The collaborate page sets out what we work on and the kinds of study we take part in.

Grants and fellowships. Whether a round is open is covered on the grants and fellowships page.

Policy and advocacy. Correspondence from ministries, agencies, legislators and partner organisations about tobacco control, cervical screening, hepatitis B or the cost of cancer care to households.

Corrections. If a figure on these pages is wrong, out of date, or superseded by a newer edition, send it. Name the page and the source you are reading it against.

Governance, accountability and complaints. These reach us at the same address. The accountability page sets out the committees in place and how to ask for more.

If you have noticed a change in your body

Take it to a health worker, and do that now rather than waiting for a screening round. The Ethiopian Organization for Cancer Prevention and Research (CPR – Ethiopia) works in prevention and research; assessment, diagnosis and treatment come from health services.

If you are asking where to be screened, the where to get screened page sets out the questions worth asking at any facility you attend.
